Girls Night In: Mug Making Crafts

I love a good girls night, but I’m tired of the same TV show and glass of wine. I wanted to get crafty and creative with a fun way to bring my girlfriends together.

I grazed Pinterest until I found one that sounded unusual and fun—a mug making event!

I shopped for various mug colors and designs at the local thrift store before grabbing Sharpie paints from Target. The girls came over and we colored until our hearts were content.

We let the Sharpie paint dry before baking the mugs on a low temperature for 2 hours. The design didn’t wash off after the heating process, but to ensure the dinnerware was safe from the dishwasher be sure to bake your mugs for an extra hour.
