Party Like A Pineapple

I am a sucker for a themed soiree and this event was the one that kicked off my love for party planning.

While I’ve perfected my skills since, I thought it was important to show where I started; where it all began.

I buy some of my products from Amazon or Party City, but I’ll always go the extra mile to support local handmade products. Etsy is my best friend and a starting point for all party planning vision boards.

I first fell in love with the idea of a pineapple donut topper from GlitterPartyCo but needed a way to showcase this into a focal point. I brought in my friend, and part-time woodworker, Ben Haslup to help brainstorm some ideas.

We came up with a coffee mug display rack to hook individual donuts. Tasty treats and desserts are essential to throwing a party so I ordered a couple dozen pineapple themed sugar cookies from Pent Up Cookie Company.

Donuts, cookies and pineapple mimosas were just a few of the snacks on hand. If there’s one thing to know about me—and something you’ll learn throughout this blog— is that you will always leave a party of mine with more items in hand than you entered with!

Party favors are my way to show love and happiness to others. Pineapple hats, sunglasses, hand sanitizer and lollipops were included in the gift bags.

It’s pretty safe to say…. WE PARTIED LIKE A PINEAPPLE!
