Paintball Troops

Themed birthday parties aren’t just for children, at least not with this group anyway. Paintballing is a great activity to get everyone involved in. Loads of people get super excited to try something new when it is suggested as an activity.

Traditionally a competitive shooting sport where players seek to eliminate opponents by hitting them with (you guessed it) balls of paint, it has gained popularity in recent years as a recreational activity as well.

Celebrating this guy turning 32, we hosted an event at Action Paintball in Taylor, MI. We held the paintball birthday party on a Saturday afternoon and sent everyone home with custom ammo box party favors.

Snacks were provided and custom packaging was ordered through Golden Printing. Bree Gold brought my vision to life with themed Rice Krispie, Capri Sun, minute maid, and Lays potato chip wrapping. Each ammo box from Etsy shop Army Force Gear as filled with water bottles, a shot glass with bullets in them, and camoflauge bandanas.

At the paintball venue, everyone was equipped with a paintball mask, gun, and paintballs. Action Paintball offers 43 acres of playable field featuring several different obstacle courses to choose from—the castle, battlefield, spindles, pavilion, and the hill.

Of course, any birthday party isn’t complete without a cake, candy bar, and cookies courtesy of KDG Sweets.

Whether you are looking to host a themed party like this, or an out-of-the-office team-building adventure, I highly suggest all newbies and veterans alike, first-time thrill-seekers and seasoned warriors, give paintball a shot (pun intended).
