Zion; A National Park Escape
Zion National Park is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. With hiking, rock climbing and water exploration I knew this needed to be the place for Arbor Creek’s company retreat.
Building rapport through team building experiences in the great outdoors was the focal point for this camping hammock company. Teaming up with Under Canvas Zion , the glamorous camping grounds on the edge of the National Park, we accommodated a group of 17 for four nights
With luxury glamping amenities in a National Park, the sunsets and wildlife were breathtaking. Upon arrival, guests received personalized camping packs filled with gear for their upcoming excursions. A camping mug, water bottle, first aid kit, hatchet, insect repellent, sunscreen and clothing pieces were some of the items included in the welcome gift.
In between conferences and individual meetings, the group experienced some of the most sought after adventures in Zion. On the first day, participants went on a private canyoneering tour with Zion Adventure Company. This guided tour descending through slot canyons was the ideal way to experience the beautiful terrain.
Zion Adventure Company offers multiple excursions using a variety of techniques that include walking, scrambling, climbing, jumping and abseiling—a true adventure for any skill set.
The second activity for these thrill seekers included a full day of ATV & Jeep Adventure Tours. With an extensive fleet featuring ATV and JeepUTV rides, the group toured picturesque trails through sand dunes, mountain ranges, and lakefronts.
The final venture for the corporate team was to hike, or rather slosh and wade, through The Narrows. The Narrows is a thin gorge in Zion Canyon featuring enormous canyon walls just twenty to thirty feet wide. This natural beauty is the most popular hike in the park and a must-see attraction.
Zion Outfitters led the way as the team trekked upstream the Virgin River to the Temple of Sinawava. A fun and easy level hike allowed the group to cool off and enjoy the warm summer weather before heading to the airport.
