Bridal Party Gifts

A forewarning that over the next year I will have several blog entries related to my upcoming wedding. As a wedding planner and future bride, I have too many ideas and a high expectation from myself to go above and beyond the norm.

We all know weddings are expensive, but so is it for the guests and friends attending your wedding, especially when it is out of state like mine. Growing up in a smaller town where the nearest international airport is 4 hours away and a regional one is over an hour away, I knew I had to ask my bridal party with a meaningful proposal as a pre-thank you nod to the commitments they would all agree to.

With many proposals including customized shirts, cups or bath bombs I wanted to create something original but yet specific to each of my girls. I stumbled on the 2021 Wedding Perfume trend and wondered how I could incorporate this to a bridal party. I reached out to Chicago engraver Tracy McClure on Instagram to see if she would help me with an idea. Could I engrave each girls name with a β€œWill You Be In The Wedding” message on a beautiful bottle of perfume?

The answer was yes. So, the next step was to pick a perfume.

Chanel Number 5 is a classic and timeless perfume that exudes elegance. I thought this was the perfect gift to spoil my bridal party. While the expense was not a minimal one, I think this gift is something each girl would want to keep, and a way to say thank you for being in my life but also to acknowledge the cost each girl will incur leading up to my big day.

The results were stunning:

I loved the idea and look so much that I might be offering these gifts to my family as a thank you for hosting a bridal shower. It is adorable and with the perfect sentimental touch!
