What You Actually Get When You Book Heirloom Event Company

We wrote a whole post about what to look for in ANY wedding planner's package, because honestly, the industry doesn't always make that easy to understand. But we figured you might also want the specifics on what happens when you work with us specifically. No vague language, no "seamless experience" buzzwords. Just what's actually included.

Our Packages, Laid Out Honestly

We offer six packages, because every couple is starting from a different place. Here's exactly what each one includes.

Partial Event Management (Day-Of)

In real life, that looks like this. It's three weeks before your wedding, and you've planned nearly everything yourself. What you don't want is to be the one answering "where do I park" texts on the actual day. So we step in, get up to speed fast, and by the time your wedding morning arrives, you're not managing anything. You're just getting ready.

For couples who've planned their own wedding and just want an experienced pro to take the wheel shortly before it all happens.

  • Planning support begins about 3 weeks out

  • Up to three planning meetings, plus unlimited email in between

  • We refine your existing timeline and confirm every vendor

  • One dedicated lead planner for up to 7 hours on your wedding day

  • Our Bridal Emergency Kit, because something always needs a safety pin

One honest heads-up: the final venue walkthrough isn't included in this tier, though it can be added on, along with extra planning hours, if you want it.

Event Management (Month-Of)

For couples who've done the planning and want a full team polishing the final details and running the day.

  • We start with timeline creation, the foundation your entire wedding day is built around for every vendor

  • We jump back in 6 weeks out with weekly 1-hour phone calls

  • A non-legal review of your vendor contracts (so nothing's hiding in the fine print)

  • A final venue walkthrough

A lead planner AND an assistant for up to 10 hours on the day, covering everything from floor plans to seating chart finalization

Here's how those pieces come together. Say you're six weeks out and fully planned. Instead of spending your final stretch fielding vendor calls, you hand us the reins. We turn your plans into one master timeline, confirm every detail, and walk the venue with you. Then on the day, a lead planner and an assistant handle it all, so you can actually be present.

Partial Planning with Design

For couples who've booked most of their vendors already but want real design support pulling it all together.

  • We help you book 3 big vendors right off the bat (think venue, catering, and photography)

  • We collaborate on a custom mood board so you feel equipped going into your food tasting and floral appointments

  • Unlimited email throughout the entire process

  • We step back into the picture 3 months before the wedding to take over all communication and vendor relationships

  • Biweekly 1-hour calls until the week of the wedding to plan and finalize any remaining elements

  • Wedding day coverage: 12 hours with a lead planner and assistant

On paper, that's design support. In practice, it's for the moment you realize your venue and caterer are booked, but nothing feels like it fits together yet. That's where we step in. We close out your remaining vendors, then spend the final months pulling the style and design into one unified vision instead of a collection of separate decisions.

Full Service

For couples who want a true partner from the very first call through the big day.

  • Unlimited consultations

  • Full budget creation and management

  • Help selecting every single vendor

  • Full design planning from start to finish

  • Full-day coordination with a lead planner and assistant, unlimited hours

Think: you’re newly engaged, excited, and have zero idea where to start. From the very first call, we’re building your budget, finding every vendor, designing the whole thing with you, and staying by your side through the last dance. You’re not planning a wedding alone at any point in this process.

Full Wedding Weekend

Our top tier, built for couples planning more than just one day, think welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches alongside the wedding itself.

  • A lead planner and assistant execute every event of your weekend on-site

  • Each event gets its own dedicated timeline

  • Unlimited hours

Every package is built around where you are in the planning process and how much support you want. The right fit is the one that matches your timeline and your to-do list.

So what does that mean in practice? You're not just planning a wedding. You're planning a welcome party, a rehearsal dinner, and a farewell brunch too. We're on-site running each event with its own timeline, so every part of the weekend gets the same level of care as the main event.

What Happens After You Say Yes?

After your first consult call, we send a custom proposal that includes a video walking you through exactly what to expect, including a sneak peek into our planning portal, so you’re never guessing what you’re signing up for. That proposal also breaks down each package and its pricing, with a fully detailed download available if you want to go deeper before deciding.

Once you’re ready to move forward, we send your contract and invoice. As soon as that’s signed, you’ll receive your Welcome Guide, and within 3 to 5 business days, we set up your own custom planning portal. This is where most of our work together happens, organized, centralized, and always accessible to you

Where Your Money Actually Goes

We don't take commissions or kickbacks from vendors. Any incentive a vendor offers gets passed straight down to you, not kept by us. If we recommend someone, it's because we genuinely trust them, not because it benefits our bottom line.

That's the whole philosophy, really: we'll never hand you a contract full of vague language and hope you don't ask questions. We'll never upsell you for something you don't need. We'll never skip reading a vendor contract, even the ones that aren't ours. We want you to know we're your partner, your teammate, and we're looking out for you.

Not Sure Which Package Fits?

That's completely normal, and honestly, we'd rather have that conversation with you directly than have you guess from a blog post. Every couple's starting point is different, and the right package is just the one that matches where you actually are.
