Set against the rustic backdrop of The Farm at Dover, Kelsey and Miles’ day was alive with thoughtful details. The vision was clear: a day that felt warm, welcoming, and deeply personal. Every choice, from the vibrant florals by Busy Bee Floral to the groom’s autumn-toned suit, was made with purpose. It was a celebration not just of a marriage, but of the couple’s heritage and the journey that brought them together.
Guests were welcomed with a coffee cart from North Village Coffee—a sweet nod to their international love story.
What stood out most was how much this couple thought of everyone else.
During the ceremony, one of the most moving moments unfolded as their wedding rings were passed among their loved ones. Each person had the chance to hold the rings and speak well wishes and prayers into them, infusing the symbols of their union with the love of their entire community.
It's in the Little Things
The day was layered with meaningful surprises that showcased the couple’s deep love and creativity. We were honored to be let in on the secrets, with both Kelsey and Miles pulling our team aside to plan special moments for each other. It’s a planner’s dream to work with a couple so focused on bringing each other joy.
The bride’s sister delivered a show-stopping performance, rewriting a Hamilton song just for the couple. As if that wasn’t enough, Kelsey surprised Miles with a custom-recorded song for their first dance.
To complement the fairytale atmosphere, we sourced a Hobbiton-inspired acoustic duo, Frogwater, whose music filled the ceremony with an enchanting, folk-like charm. Each of these elements, though small on their own, came together to create an experience that was rich with personality and heart.
Five Months, Two Continents, One Dream
Pulling off a wedding in just five months is no easy task—add in the Atlantic Ocean between the couple, and you get a planning adventure that’s part romance, part logistical magic. Kelsey and Miles knew exactly how they wanted their day to feel, but with work, travel, and soon-to-be-married logistics, they needed a partner who would get it right and truly listen to their hearts.
